Proverbs 23:18
Statement of Faith
(a) We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative inerrant Word of God.
(b) We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(c) We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal return to power and glory.

(d) We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly, separated life.

(e) We believe in justification of the sinner, by grace, through faith, on the grounds of the death, and bodily resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe those given saving faith are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become new creatures, delivered from condemnation, adopted, preserved and given eternal life.

(f) We believe that the true church comprises all who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head. The true church is manifested in local churches, whose membership should be composed only of believers. The Lord Jesus mandated two ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which visibly and tangibly express the gospel. Though they are not the means of salvation, when celebrated by the church in genuine faith, these ordinances confirm and nourish the believer.

(g) We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked.

(h) We believe it is our responsibility as children of God to care for the fatherless and the needy as stated in James 1:27, I John 3:17, Proverbs 19:17. We are compelled as well by the example and instruction given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to give our lives to serve those in need.
